Religious Education for 8th, 9th and 10th graders

Jewish Learning does not end with a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at 13!

FVJC has a very popular post B’nai Mitzvah program called Midrashei Chayim, or ‘MC’ meaning life long learning. The program offers our 8th-10th grade students a way to remain connected to their friends from Religious school, as well as our temple. See our Blog at FVJCMC.org.

Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to become Confirmands at the end of 10th grade and re-affirm their commitment to Judaism at a special service they create on the festival of Shavuot.

Each grade meets individually once a month and combines social, learning and mitzvah related activities along with classes that expand their Jewish knowledge.
