Religious school starts this Sunday, September 7, and Hebrew School begins Wednesday, September 10. If you have any questions, please contact Marlena DeRosa.
High Holiday Tickets Are In the Mail
If you are a dues-paying member in good standing, you should receive your holiday tickets in the next 10 days. The Shofar goes Online

Help Build Our New Sukkah
Thanks to the generous donations from David and Linda Levine, we will be celebrating Sukkot this year under a new canopy. But, we need your help to build it. We are looking for volunteers on Sunday, September 14th, from 9-2. Together, we will construct our new temporary Sukkah in the Sidney Cohen Garden near the front parking lot! Please join us if you can lend an hand or hammer. Our Religious School students will decorate the Sukkah in October.

State Senator David Cappiello is the Republican candidate in the 2008 Congressional elections for the 5th Congressional District of Connecticut. He is challenging incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy in the election this November. Currently David Cappiello is in his fifth term as State Senator representing the 24th District towns of Danbury, Bethel, New Fairfield, and Sherman. First elected in 1994 to the Connecticut House of Representatives from Danbury’s 138th District, Senator Cappiello served two terms before being elected to the State Senate in 1998.
