We are proud that Junior Congregation is a comfortable place in which our students and their families come together to celebrate Shabbat. Get swept up in the energy and excitement of our Junior Congregation. Honors are given to students either individually or in groups to encourage participation. When you see our students participate in these Services, you will know how exciting this program is.
The Goal of Junior Congregation is to afford our Religious School age students and their families a solid understanding of a Shabbat Service and to help them prepare for their role in the Jewish Community. The Junior Congregation Family Service highlights the prayers our students learn in Religious School.
We often end this Service with a Shabbat Pizza dinner; this is a wonderful way for families to “hang out” at their own Kiddush. In this social setting, many lovely friendships take root. This is a free program, dinner is optional. (There is a small charge for the dinner).
