Celebrations

Throughout the year, Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation-Emek Shalom hosts celebrations to bring together congregants and other neighbors interested in learning about and celebrating Jewish holidays. These include:

• Sukkot decorating
• Hanukkah Hop
• Purim Schpiel and Carnival
• Passover Seder

In addition, our Shabbat services are another opportunity to celebrate holidays. Our Kids Shabbats are geared to help families celebrate holidays. Check the FVJC Calendar, The Shofar (our newsletter), or sign up for FVJC news bulletins to find out about upcoming celebrations.

Life Cycle Events

The FVJC Congregation wants to help you celebrate life cycle events such as a baby namings or bris, B'Nai Mitzvot, and wedding. When you need to commemorate a loved one's passing, our congregation and clergy can help as well. We have a lovely memorial park, in which cemetery plots are available.
